Terms and conditions

  1. Who we are

    These terms are between you and Decoration X, a family-run event styling and hire business at 16D Howell Crescent, Mount Roskill, Auckland 1041. Write to decorationx3@gmail.com or call (+64) 028 419 8442 about any of them.

  2. Asking for a quote

    Sending the form asks us for a quote. It is not a booking and it does not hold a date: nothing is booked until we have agreed it with you directly.

  3. The estimate

    The estimate on the form is a guide, worked out from our prices for the room you picked: a range 20% either side of that room's price, GST included. Backdrop curtains, drapes and table skirting are quoted separately. It is not a quote or an offer — your quote comes from us once we know the date, the venue and what you need.

  4. Your photos and files

    Attach only photos and files you are happy for us to see. We use them to quote and plan your event, and for nothing else.

  5. Meta (Facebook and Instagram)

    When you send the form, the website tells Meta about your enquiry, as our privacy notice describes: what kind of event it is and its size in broad terms, and your email address, phone number and name in scrambled form, so Meta can match it to an account and measure our ads — never what you wrote. If you would rather it did not, call us on (+64) 028 419 8442 or email decorationx3@gmail.com instead of using the form.

  6. Our photographs

    The photographs on this site are of rooms we dressed, and they are ours. Please ask before using them anywhere else.

  7. Changes and the law

    We may update these terms; the date at the top says when they last changed, and the terms on this page when you sent the form are the ones that apply to it. They are governed by New Zealand law, and nothing in them limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.
